Wiggin' Out for the holidays!

By now, you know that even the most perfect Halloween costume isn't complete without a coordinating costume wig. Just like your hairstyle can affect your mood and how others perceive you, your costume wig will affect how other's view your costume. If your wig is mismatched or inappropriate it can ruin the entire look of your costume.

So, how do you select the perfect costume wig? Well, with all thecostume wigs available at HalloweenAdventure.com, it may be difficult. The perfect costume wig is out there, you just have to find it. That's where we come in!
As always, HalloweenAdventure.com is here to save the day! (shameless plug) Instead of selecting a costume wig to go with the perfect costume, why not select a costume to go with the perfect wig?

In many cases, the wig is impressive enough to stand on its own and the costume becomes the accessory. To show you what we mean, we've taken the liberty of compiling a list of the coolest costume wigs that will make it easy for you to put together a costume to go with them. And, because we just like creating quizzes, we've constructed a quiz to help you decide which one is right for you.

So without further ado, here is our Cool Costume Wigs That Aren't Necessarily Accessories But Moreso Costume Starters Countdown, Quiz, and Coordinating Costume List: (You don't think the title is too long do you?)

5. Do you have so much money that you could buy and sell everyone in America but not enough to do something about that horrendous hairdo you've been sporting since 1965? Then our number 5 costume wig is perfect for you! Imagine the delight on everyone's face when you wear our "You're Fired" costume wig. Even The Donald is envious of our stunning brown comb-over wig! Costume Idea: A simple business suit.

4. Do you spend your evenings looking for the hottest disco dive in town only to wind up watching reruns of "Welcome Back Kotter" and "Good Times"? Do you pray that the happenin' 1970's fashions will return for a third time just so you won't have to buy new clothing? Then get ready to break out the platform shoes and don our cool Super Fro costume wig. This massive afro may not fit through the door of the dance club, but don't worry-- the party will follow you wherever you go when you're super fly in our super fro! Costume Idea: Bell-bottoms, platform shoes, shiny shirt, and dark shades.

3. Are you ready to party like it's 1985? Do you spend your Friday nights playing old Lynyrd Skynyrd songs on your acoustic guitar only to become frustrated when you can't quite remember the lyrics to "Tuesday's Gone"? Have you mastered every step in the "Achy Breaky Heart" line dance? Then prepare to score some chicks this Halloween when you wear our totally rockin' Super Mullet Costume Wig! It's all business up front and party in the back for the coolest dude in town! Costume Idea: Ripped jeans, a cut-sleeved flannel shirt, a white wife beater, and construction worker boots.

2. Are you still rockin' that Poison tat like you were when Bret Michaels was cool, oh so long ago? Do you find that men are more attractive in thick black eyeliner and pink lipstick? Do your teenage neighbors beg you to turn down your hairband music while you're in the front lawn trying to get the Trans Am running again? Then prepare to rock it like it's hot in our cool 80's Rock Star Wig. Not since the days of Cinderella and Dokken have men's hair styles been more feminine! Costume Idea: More makeup than Tammy Faye, acid washed jeans with ripped knees, a black tank top, studded leather jewelry.

And finally, the number one cool costume wig that's not necessarily an accessory but moreso a costume starter:

Do you miss the days of free love and peace rallies? Do you have vivid flashbacks thanks to the truckload of drugs you "sampled" during Woodstock? Do you remember when "Puff the Magic Dragon was a hit"? Then relive your glory days yet again in our totally groovy 1960's Hippie Wig! Let the love pour like cheap wine this Halloween! Costume Idea: Blue jeans, tie dyed t-shirt, and John Lennon shades.

So there you have it. Yet again, HalloweenAdventure.com has managed to give you marvelous ideas for your Halloween costume and we did it all without ever mentioning how cool we are or that we've been in business since 1981 or that we have over 100 costume shops all across the country, or that if you purchase $100 or more in merchandise from our massive website that you'll receive FREE shipping. . . . We didn't mention any of that.

So, what are you waiting for? Halloween is just around the corner and Halloween Adventure is just a click away. Make this Halloween an adventure with HalloweenAdventure.com!

Harry Potter Promotional Posters hit the net...

..and they are SUPER COOL! Have you seen them? Click here to see all four posters, each featuring a lead character! We know we keep saying this, but we're so excited for the movie that we can barely resist the desire to whip out our Harry Potter wand at a moment's notice! We know better than to wear our Dementor costume out and about - don't want to scare anyone! Which is why we've just been wearing our Hogwarts uniforms around the house. It doesn't hurt anyone if we wear our Harry Potter glasses while we cook dinner, now does it?

Vanessa Hudgens to star in modern day Beauty and the Beast

Examiner.com is reporting that Zac's girlfriend has just signed on to play the lead role in CBS Films' The Beastly, a role that many believed would go to Leighton Meester.  The movie is a modern-day take on Beauty and The Beast, with big names like Harrison FordBrendan Fraser, and Keri Russell already on board.

While she will be playing the "beauty," Vanessa has to learn to see the inner beauty in the "beast," a former hottie who becomes horribly disfigured after a spell is cast on him by a classmate. This isn't exactly the kick butt action role Vanessa had stated she was looking for, but hey, at least she's pretty enough for the part!

Well then! This means we have to dig up our Belle costumes to see if we can one- up Miss Vanessa. Our favorite is this yellow ball gown dress, the one Belle made famous in the Disney flick. Not a fan of Belle? Maybe you're more a Cinderella girl? So are we! We are absolutely obsessed with this costume. Neither of those suit your yearnings? What about this Snow White outfit? It looks exactly like the one in the movie, so you can pretend you're the real thing!

Check out all of our Disney costumes at Halloween Adventure! We've got plenty more outfit choices up our sleeve!

Hannah Montana does it again!

Miley and Hannah team up for a $34M opening weekend

Miley Cyrus and alter-ego Hannah Montana have double-teamed their way to another No. 1 box office debut.

Walt Disney's "Hannah Montana: The Movie" opened with $34 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday. That followed Cyrus' first-place premiere last year with her 3-D concert film.

The movie is a big-screen installment of the Disney Channel series about an ordinary teen living a double life as pop star Hannah.

"Hannah Montana" drew $17.3 million on Friday for the biggest opening day ever for a G-rated live-action movie.

While girls 12 and younger and their moms made up most of the audience, "Hannah Montana" also attracted a solid crowd of teenage girls, fans reaching the age when they might be outgrowing the show, said Mark Zoradi, president of Disney's motion-picture group.

"Miley's audience stayed with her," Zoradi said. "Those that enjoyed the show on TV and maybe have become young teens themselves came back for the movie."

We were there opening night in our Hannah Montana t-shirts. The movie was amazing. We'd HIGHLY recommend seeing it! Even our non-believer friends who came along enjoyed themselves. The film made us hungry for Halloween, or even a Hannah Montana themed party! Any opportunity to whip out our favorite Hannah Montana costumes. What do you think? Would you come to a HM themed party?

Iron Man Returns!

Iron Man 2 Begins!

Robert Downey Jr. is officially back in the superhero business.

Production started Wednesday on "Iron Man 2," the sequel to his 2008 blockbuster about the Marvel Comics character.

Downey reprises his role as a billionaire genius who fights bad guys in a high-tech metal suit that's loaded with gadgets. "Iron Man 2" reunites Downey with co-star Gwyneth Paltrow and also features Don Cheadle, who replaces Terrence Howard as the superhero's military ally.

Mickey Rourke is signed on to play a villain, and the cast also includes Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson, who had a cameo at the end of the first "Iron Man."

Jon Favreau is back directing again for the sequel that hits theaters May 7, 2010.

All this talk about Iron Man 2 gets us in the mood to whip out our Iron Man costumes! We know we've got quite a while until the sequel hits theaters, but might as well get excited, right? We can't help it!

Toy Story and Beauty and the Beast for re-release!

Disney to re-release Toy Story 1 & 2 and premiere Toy Story 3!

During the Disney presentation at last week's ShoWest event in Las Vegas, it was announced that the studio would release bothToy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D simultaneously, as part of one big double feature on October 3. Originally the two films were scheduled to return to theaters a few months apart, but now they’re together – and Disney will use this opportunity to also launch the first trailer for Toy Story 3, which will be the first new Pixar film to arrive in 3D.

Also on tap for Disney is a re-release of Beauty and the Beast in 3D. At ShoWest, they screened the opening scene and along with it came the following reactions from Collider: "They showed us the opening song 'Belle' in 3-D and I have to say it looked great. While it's not as good as a movie made in 3D, for new audiences that haven't seen this amazing movie, they'll love it."

We couldn't be happier about this news! I mean, who doesn't love Toy Story? And Beauty and the Beast is a classic! The news just makes us want to whip out our yellow dress, Belle style. Check out our full range of Disney Princess costumes here. We'll meet you at the theater!

What to wear to Hannah Montana: The Movie!

Hannah Montana: The Movie comes out this weekend!

OMG, you guys! Hannah Montana: The Movie comes out this weekend, on April 10th to be exact. We are SO excited. We know we sound like teeny boppers when we say this, but we honestly cannot wait to see this film. We've watched the preview every day for the past month or so, and we always cry at the part where Miley rips off her wig on stage.

Which life will she choose? Hannah Montana? Miley Stewart? Can she be both girls forever? We're DYING to know! We're wearing our favorite HM costume to the theater on opening night. Will you be wearing yours? We figure there are a bunch of die-hard Hannah fans out there, and we bet they'll be sporting some serious Hannah gear. Or perhaps they'll go as Lola Luftnagle? Mike Stanley? Jackson Stewart, even?

How do you plan to celebrate the release? In case you're not prepared, check out our Hannah Montana costumes here!

100 Movies to see before you die, and the costumes that go with!

Yahoo has compiled a list of 100 movies to see before you die- most of the classics are on there, as expected, but a few modern films (and a few of our personal favorites!) have made the list. You can check out the full 100 here, but here's the ones we're happy to see made the cut.

- Saving Private Ryan (check out soldier costumes here!)
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (check out Disney princess costumes here! We're so happy this Disney oldie made the list.)
- The Wizard of Oz (check out costumes here!)

Read the full list on Yahoo.com. Did any of your favorites make the cut?

Marvel needs new superheroes!

Can you believe it? Marvel, the be all end all of comic books is looking for writers? That's right, they've begun a new program in which they'll sign five new writers per year. Do you have the chops to write the next big Marvel movie? While they’re not exactly combing the streets with Spider-Man’s web for new talent, Marvel has indeed started a new program with the intent on signing five new writers each year and assigning them different comic adaptations to work on. Among the characters Marvel would eventually like to see up on the big screen are Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Nighthawk, Cable and Vision. Walt Disney also has a similar program, though I don’t think their writers will need a

major crash course on masked vigilantes and little-known superheroes. Marvel has upwards of 5,000 characters in their collection, so look for this program to keep churning out new product for a long time to come.

Which under-the-radar Marvel character would you like to see up on the big screen?

While you're dreaming up your winning hit film, check out our Spiderman costumes (one of our favorite Marvel heros).
